Haunted Houses

Halloween is one of the great times of the year. It's time for everyone to let down their guards and allow themselves to be frightened--to surround themselves with terrifying atmospheres, and to dress up themselves and pretend as if they're a horrifying monster, or their favorite television show character, or something to catch the eye of the lucky person that they're interested in. No matter how it is being utilized, there is one undeniable fact: Halloween is just fun. There are so many things to like about it, but the biggest thing that Halloween is known for is the frights. There are so many different Halloween-themed attractions in and around the month of October that could catch your eyes. There are cider mills, corn mazes, and horror movies aplenty. But if you want an experience that is truly immersive, and truly terrifying, then you want to attend a Haunted House.

A Haunted House is a large, usually repurposed, building that has been decorated to appear in a certain theme, such as a haunted insane asylum, a haunted hospital, and of course, a haunted house. Actors dress up in various terrifying outfits and make their sole purpose in scaring the socks out of any and everyone who steps through the door--and they will scare the socks off of you. You don't have anything to really fear though because no performers at haunted houses will ever touch you (unless you're at a Haunted House where they do, and even then you have to sign a contract before entering.) Haunted Houses are a great destination for Halloween-time because they are so unique. There truly is nothing like them. Horror movies aren't nearly as immersive, and regular houses aren't normally haunted! Attending a Haunted House is an unforgettable experience. Unfortunately, though, Haunted Houses usually only come around once a year. So when many people leave a Haunted House, they've just seen the only Haunted House that they'll see all year. And we think that's just a shame. A great way to experience Haunted Houses is to experience as many as you can in one night.
